Grant Custom Paint and Design is a small business created by myself, Grant Glavin. I have been interested in art and anything creative from a young age. I grew up on the North Shore of Massachusetts and have always customized everything I could as far back as I can remember. Street hockey masks, skim boards, waterskis, or skurfers (now wakeboards) were never safe from a paintbrush or spraypaint. I realized that when I was having the most fun with them was when I was painting them then showing them off to friends. I continued my love of art through high school and into college.

I graduated in 2000 from Plymouth State College with a B.A. in Graphic Design. While in college I really fell in love with painting and took classes to the highest level they offered getting instruction from some great teachers. After college I took a job as a designer at a local silkscreening and embroidery company where I learned a great deal of the design process and programs used in design. Although I loved the job and everyday was a new challenge, driving a desk began to wear on me and I decided to seek something new. I had always wanted an airbrush because I felt I understood the process of airbrushing and thought I might be good at it. I bought my first airbrush about a year and a half ago and began to seek out projects to paint. My first official job was a motorcycle helmet that a friend intrusted me with so I could get something under my belt. The helmet, as well as other projects, can be seen in the gallery section.

I have been expanding my equipment and knowledge since that first project and decided it is time to establish a legitimate business. Grant Custom Paint and Design now offers many different creative options in the design world. Custom paint, websites, logos, business cards, and t-shirt design to name a few.
